In 2021 Richard launched ‘The Sports Consultancy’ with the aims of supporting the multiple requirements of National Sports federations.
Ober the past two years Richard has supported several projects including:
- Secured three million (AUD) from Hancock Prospecting for Artistic Swimming Australia.
- Developed and launched a national training programme for Artistic Swimming in Australia at the Western Australia Institute of Sport in Perth.
- Completed a new whole of sport strategic plan for Artistic Swimming Australia, and member associations.
- Completed a rebrand for Artistic Swimming Australia.
- Six-month Interim Chief Operating Officer role at the Royal Queensland yacht Squadron (RQYS) in Brisbane, the largest harbour in the Southern hemisphere with a turnover over 18.5 million (AUD).
- Performance Advisor to Badminton Australia around the Tokyo Olympic Games’.
- Completed the National Integrity Framework overhaul for Artistic Swimming Australia, one of the first sports to sign up to Sport Integrity Australia’s National Integrity framework.
- Disciplinary Tribunal panel member (multiple).
